Centrum

In the winter of 2016/2017, HB erected for “Centrum 606” job, a new contemporary apartment community close to the 606 Trail in Chicago, IL. The apartments include seven floors of precast hollowcore plank with a total footprint of 142,000 sf.

With our extensive experience in the installation of precast plank for larger residential structures, HB was hired as the sub-contractor to ARCO/Murray National Construction Company, the General Contractor. HB focused on the phasing for erecting the precast plank due to the very tight jobsite access.

HB was also requested to provide certified flaggers for the project as well as installing temporary weather protection during construction and other miscellaneous items that the contractor needed in accelerated fashion.
